Since I have always thought it was sad that Josh has to wait all year to get gifts since he has Christmas and then his birthday on January 14, this year we decided to have a half birthday celebration. For his real birthday we will just go out to dinner and he won’t have gifts. Here is Joshua opening his gifts….

Samantha was scheduled to go to two day camps and two weekend camps for Girl Scouts this year. However, she only attended one of the day camps and they didn’t send home pictures like the last day camp. She missed all of her other camps because she somehow managed to come down with pneumonia.
Timmy started out his camping this year with a day camp that he went to with my mom. He wanted to do something with grandma this year. Here is a picture of my mom with Timmy on the last day of camp…

Nathan then took Timmy to two weekend camps. Here is Timmy at the ship’s wheel (it was pirate themed)…

Here is Timmy at the archery range. This year he was able to shoot much better because he was a little older and a little stronger….

Nathan got into the camp atmosphere and played along at one of their gatherings…

Here is another picture of Timmy that Nathan took while at camp…

I had to take a picture of two of our fellow campers during the July 4th golf cart parade….

One of the new events for this year at the campground was a RC boat race at the pool. Nathan helped set the course up and the kids had to steer their boats around balloon fishes in the pool. Here is Timmy getting ready for his race…

Here is Timmy driving his boat…

Here is Josh and Timmy while Josh was driving. I wish my camera skills were quicker because Josh had actually drove his boat through one of the fishes while he was driving…

Nathan knows that I like to take pictures of beautiful creeks and waterfalls so during the week he would stop when he would see something on the side of the road so I could take pictures. Here are a few of my favorites…

At the Newark airport we stopped to have dinner at the food court and the kids had McDonald happy meals. They were advertising “How to Train Your Dragon.” The boxes turned into viking hats. Here is my mom modeling one of the hats…

And Timmy….

And now I am caught up with Vermont! :)

We were flying home on Easter but we still wanted the kids to have a regular Easter morning. Here is what was waiting for them when they woke up Easter morning…

Samantha and Jax were the first to come down…

Here are the kids digging into the goodies…

Of coures the Easter bunny stopped by and hid eggs, both inside…

and outside…

They had a lot of fun and in some ways I think they weren’t ready for the vacation to end.
