The Monday after the Frogtown Challenge was my brother’s birthday. We went to a wonderful Japanese restaurant in Cumming. Of course Japanese food is a favorite for myself and all three kids so we ate a lot of food! :)
Here is my brother Tim with the birthday hat from the restaurant…

And here is a picture of all of the family around the table…

After closing up camp in Pennsylvania we headed to Atlanta so my mom and I could run (walk) the 4 mile Frogtown Challenge with my sister-in-law Andrea. Here are the three of us before the race…

The Frogtown Challenge is a trail run through the woods crossing creeks and running through mud. Here is a picture of my mom and me crossing the first creek…

The trail got harder from there…

Here is a picture of all three of us getting ready to cross the river balancing on a log…

And a picture of the three of us when we made it across the log…

Here is a picture of the three of us crossing the last creek…

Here is a picture of Andrea and me crossing the finish line…

And my mom crossing the finish line…

We had a lot of fun. There were people who ran the 10 mile challenge who finished before us but at least we were still standing and moving after our 4 miles! :)

We decided to change the sofa a bit while we were in Pennsylvania….

We decided that we needed more storage space and that the hide away bed doesn’t get much use…

Now we have lots of useable space! :)

We test drove our costumes for this year at Shenango for their Halloween weekend. Here are the kids in their costumes…

And Nathan sitting at the front porch….

Samantha was a fairy that she named “Glitter”….

Timmy was Peter Pan…

Joshua was Captain Hook…

My mom was supposed to be a pirate wench but I think she looks more like a hippy….

And here is a picture of all of us, we ended up winning best group/family….

After Michigan we drove into Toronto for a day so Nathan could do some work. We started out checking into a “resort” named Cedar Creek RV Resort that we had to pay in full for when we made reservations (non refundable). The first site they gave us we couldn’t even get into. They let us choose the next site and when we finally got parked we realized it was 30 amp and had no sewer. Good news is that we were able to use the oven and have an A/C on without popping the electric. However, we decided the “resort” was SO awful that we would rather be at a Walmart so after cooking dinner we unhooked and drove through their NARROW streets scratching the sides of the RV and went to a Walmart for the night. Needless to say I spent way too much money at the Walmart because they have different buyers for Canadian Walmarts and they had so many cute outfits for the kids that I have never seen in an American Walmart! :)
The next day we drove back into America at Niagara Falls and headed back to Shenango for the Halloween weekend….
