After lunch at Hollywood Studios we decided to walk around a bit and get Josh some more autographs and pictures. While we were waiting in line for Buzz Lightyear and Woody the kids were entertaining themselves. Here they are pretending to be in the grab game with the aliens…

Next Timmy and Josh strapped Samantha to a rocket…

Then Josh strapped Timmy to the rocket…

Then it was finally our turn…

As soon as we got outside the kids spotted a green army man…

Next they found JoJo and Goliath….

The last character for the day were two of the characters from Little Einsteins. Timmy decided he didn’t want to be in the picture…

Nathan decided he wanted a little fun before he completely shaved down the huge beard. So… he went with mutton chops for a couple of days. You should have seen his smile when someone at Epcot came up to him and told him he had some “Epic Chops”!…

This post will be pretty random on pictures because I don’t take pictures at all the parks anymore because we have been so many times. Here is Joshua in Norway. He wanted to pose with the big troll…

Here is a picture of my mom and I on our Segways when we went on the Ford Wilderness Segway Tour. This was my Christmas present to her…

Here are the kids at the front of Epcot posing by the decor for the Food and Wine Festival…

The kids decided to go to Journey to Imagination and while there they took a picture with the Kodak lady. She gave Samantha a pair of glasses and gave both of the boys lab coats to wear…

While Nathan was away to Denver my mom and I took the kids to lunch in Japan. They love Japanese food and since Nathan doesn’t it seemed like a good time to try it out. I ordered the boys kid’s meals. They came in what I thought was a monorail. I later found out it was a special train in Japan. Here is a picture of the dish the lunches were served in…

Josh liked his so much that he talked my mom into buying him one for his Christmas present to take home.:)
Here is the funny part of November at Disney. As soon as Halloween is over, the Christmas decorations go up. Here is the Christmas tree at the front of Hollywood Studios…

We also took the kids out to the 50’s Prime Time Cafe for lunch while Nathan was gone. Here is one of the Christmas trees in the lobby…

They were missing their dad so they set a spot at the table for him…

This Halloween I decided that each of the kids should have something special for their costumes. This started because I was going to let Timmy get his hair spiked at the barber shop on Main Street. Here is Timmy’s hair…

Samantha and Josh both had their faces painted. Here is Samantha’s fairy paint…

Joshua had his face painted like a pirate since he was Captain Hook…

Here is Nathan with his beard in full pirate mode…

The kids wanted to go on the teacups and since I was the only one willing to go with them I had Nathan take pictures. So… here is a picture of ME with the kids in the teacup…

As I mentioned this time around Joshua was really into meeting characters. Halloween offered character greetings that they don’t usually have or that I have never noticed. The first characters that we noticed that we haven’t seen before was Peter Pan and Wendy. Peter Pan had a great time bothering Timmy for dressing like him….

Here are the kids with Rafiki and King Louie (both I have seen out before)…

And here they are with Tarzan and Turk. I think this is the first time I have ever seen Tarzan…

Thursday morning was spent with Nathan getting his beard braided for Halloween while I got allergy shots. Here are Nathan’s braids….

Then we headed to the Kingdom after lunch. Here is a picture of Josh and Samantha with Snow White…

Friday we went to the pool. This sounded like a great idea. They have a new pool with a water slide and a splash zone area for the smaller kids as well as a jacuzzi for the adults. Samantha was playing in the splash zone with her brothers although technically she is too tall for it (parents were in there as well). She was getting up off the slide and cut her foot open. I was shocked at how many levels you have to go up before you get help. I asked the lifeguard if they had a first aid kit. They had to get the pool manager. She was only able to give us ice and a band-aid. They had to call the ambulance for further than that. The ambulance cleaned it out and taped it…

Then we ended up taking her to an urgent care center. People were looking like they were dying inside there so Nathan waited for her name to be called while Samantha and I waited outside. While we waited outside we watched a woodpecker…

They decided not to stitch or staple because of where it was. So they used steri strips to close the wound and then we had to keep it wrapped in gauze and an ace bandage for 5 days while she stayed off her feet. Fort Wilderness gave us a wheelchair to use while she needed it. Friday night we already had reservations for dinner and seating for Fantasmic. Here is a picture of Nathan pushing Samantha and Josh in the chair…

I believe she liked being the princess for a few days! :) This is actually the first time that we have been to Fantasmic. Here is a picture of the stage before the show…

And here are two pictures taken during the show…

We woke up early to get going to Disney on October 27. However… the RV wouldn’t start! The kids were not happy about this turn of events. The RV had a problem starting a couple of times while we were in Atlanta and I guess we should have taken care of it. Oh well… we called Cummins and they couldn’t send someone until the next day. We found a mobile repair that came out to the RV park after a couple of hours. He was able to jump start the RV… something about a cylnoid (sp?). We made it to Disney a couple of hours later than we wanted but we made it. Of course the kids wanted to make sure they went to a park so we went to Epcot for a couple of hours because it was the only park still open.
We went on the first ride they saw… Spaceship Earth. I had bought a book on some of the Disney secrets and learned that if you took a picture of the wall on the right just past the cavemen something shows up with the flash…

We also did one more assignment with Kim Possible, this time in Mexico. Here are the kids and Nathan receiving the first clue…

That was pretty much it for the night. Everyone was getting grumpy so we decided to get a good night’s rest and go to Animal Kingdom the next day. Once at Animal Kingdom we went on the Safari ride and then we all went on Kali River Rapids since Josh is big enough to ride it now. We took some pictures of the empty lines so we can remember what they looked like. We figure it will be much more crowded at Christmastime.
Josh discovered characters on this trip so he wanted to meet them all. We actually had to buy him an autograph book because he wanted them to sign his book. Here is his first character that he found… Terk from Tarzan…

Here is a picture of the kids with Goofy and Pluto…

And just as we were leaving Josh spotted the Pooh characters hiding off to the side, so of course we had to turn around and get pictures with them all…
